COVID-19 RGV Updates

OLLU-RGV Fall Campus Hours & Protocol

As we prepare to resume classes for the fall 2020 semester, I would like to take a moment to make you aware of the protocols that we will be following to ensure your safety.

In light of the current pandemic and as cases continue to rise in the RGV, it is our top priority to make sure that you and your families stay safe. Currently both Hidalgo and Cameron Counties have extended the “shelter-in place” and curfew orders.

As you are probably aware, all of your classes have moved to the online format, this is part of ensuring your safety and safety of those around you.

In addition, the RGV campus will continue to operate on abbreviated hours, will be accessible by appointment only and will remain closed to visitors. If you wish to access to the campus for the use of technology (computer labs) you will need to make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance. To make an appointment, you may call 956-277-0146 or email Cindy Olvera at

For your health and safety, we have set up sanitizing stations at the entrance and in each of the computer labs for your use. Please note, you will be required to wear a face covering at all times while on campus.

Campus hours for fall 2020 are as follows:

Monday  9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
